Job Description IT Manager Location: Plano, TX Employment Type: Full-Time | Non-Exempt Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on IT Manager to lead and support enterprise IT infrastructure, systems administration, cybersecurity initiatives, and technology operations across multiple U.S. locations. This is a "player/coach" leadership role requiring both strategic oversight and direct technical involvement

The ideal candidate will have experience managing enterprise IT environments, leading technical teams, and driving large-scale initiatives such as ERP implementations, infrastructure migrations, cybersecurity programs, acquisitions/integrations, and technology modernization efforts. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure support, and enterprise technology initiatives Serve as the primary escalation point for infrastructure, networking, systems, ERP, cybersecurity, and end-user support issues Manage and mentor IT staff across multiple locations while fostering accountability and operational excellence Drive enterprise IT projects including: o ERP implementations o Infrastructure migrations o System upgrades o Acquisitions/integrations o Technology refresh initiatives Partner with business stakeholders to align technology solutions with operational needs Support and optimize: o Servers o Networks o Cloud platforms o Enterprise applications o Manufacturing-related systems Manage vendors, licensing, hardware/software inventory, and support contracts Support cybersecurity, disaster recovery, business continuity, and compliance initiatives including NIST/CMMC Prepare project plans, budgets, reporting metrics, and leadership updates Participate in after-hours support and critical incident response as needed Drive continuous improvement and operational standardization initiatives ________________________________________ Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred 8+ years of experience in: o IT operations o Infrastructure support o Systems administration o Enterprise technology environments 3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams and enterprise IT projects Proven experience in a hands-on IT leadership or "working manager" role Experience leading enterprise-scale projects impacting multiple business units Strong ERP implementation experience including: o Data migration o Integrations o Stakeholder coordination o Post-go-live support Strong experience with: o VMware o Microsoft Azure / M365 o Windows Server o Cisco and/or Ubiquiti networking Experience supporting cybersecurity/compliance initiatives including NIST and/or CMMC Manufacturing and multi-site environment experience preferred ________________________________________ Preferred Certifications Industry certifications and continuing education preferred DoD 8570 Level II certification (or higher) preferred ________________________________________ Technical & Leadership Skills Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills Ability to lead highly technical teams through mentorship and accountability Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities Experience balancing operational needs, cybersecurity, scalability, and cost optimization Ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments Strong understanding of: o Enterprise infrastructure o Cloud platforms o Cybersecurity o ERP systems o End-user computing ________________________________________ Additional Information Travel up to 30% On-call support required for emergent situations Ability to obtain a government security clearance preferred U.S. work authorization required due to federal regulatory requirements
