Requirements
Grounds
  • Have knowledge of landscaping, of both native and non-native species. Plants, trees, and turf.
  • Have knowledge of the tools needed to maintain the landscape, mowers, trimmers, saws, blowers.
  • Have knowledge of basic plumbing, sprinkler systems, irrigation systems. plastic pipe, galvanized pipe.
  • Being physically able to work with heavy lifting or digging.
  • Being physically able to work out in the elements, cold, hot, wet.
  • Being able to be flexible with job duties, many times our work is not landscaping, it's furniture moving, anything that is needed.
  • Being able get along with other crewmen.
  • Being able to get along with other departments.
  • Being on call every now and then.
