Position Overview

As the FedEx Ground Operations Manager, you will oversee daily package delivery operations serving Belgrade, Bozeman, and Livingston, Montana.

You will be responsible for leading drivers and support staff, improving operational performance, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring reliable service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide after-hours and weekend operational support when needed
Qualifications
  • Previous FedEx Ground BC, Assistant BC, Operations Manager, or equivalent leadership experience required
  • Minimum 2 years of management or leadership experience
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to motivate teams and lead by example
  • GroundCloud Qual-Cert certification (or ability to obtain)
Schedule
  • Monday–Friday
  • Daily schedule aligned with FedEx Ground route operations
  • Typical hours: approximately 7:30 AM until routes return (generally 6:00–7:00 PM)
  • Weekend availability/on-call support as needed
