Job Summary:
Cardinal Integrated Technologies Inc is seeking a Java/Groovy Developer. The role involves developing and maintaining Java and Groovy web applications, ensuring system integrations are functioning properly, and requires extensive experience in object-oriented programming.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for researching problems, making, testing, and implementing code changes, and then following up to ensure the desired results were achieved
• Develop and maintain Java and Groovy Web Applications as well as Java Batch Applications.
• Ensure that all systems and third party integrations are available and functioning properly.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 10+ years of experience is required
• Responsible for researching problems, making, testing, and implementing code changes, and then following up to ensure the desired results were achieved
• Develop and maintain Java and Groovy Web Applications as well as Java Batch Applications
• Ensure that all systems and third party integrations are available and functioning properly
• Highly motivated, effective communicator, willing to work well in a group environment as well as function independently
• Experience in Object Oriented programming including back-end and front-end development
• Experience with Kafka and Kassandra
• Extensive experience in groovy Spring and Gradle
• Well-developed testing skills and willingness to use/learn development and testing tools
• The individual should work well under pressure, grasp new ideas quickly, and be able to thrive in a dynamic and diverse environment
• Developers should be familiar in the following tech stack: Docker Swarm/Kubernetes, Azure or Openshift, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Cassandra, Groovy, Jenkins, Spring, Gradle, Elastic Search, Prometheus, Mutual authentication
