This role is focused on Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Researcher Authentication Services (RAS), and the project is expected to run for the next 3 years.
 
The role involves working with technologies like OAuth/OIDC, SAML, Azure AKS, Broadcom Layer7 API Gateway, SiteMinder, Shibboleth, Terraform, and GCP CAS, among others. It’s a critical position within a highly secure and federated environment that supports NIH systems and external research partners.

Seeking a seasoned Tech Lead to oversee and drive the Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Researcher Authentication Services (RAS) operations
 
RAS is a mission-critical Identity Broker platform that enables secure Single Sign-On (SSO) access to systems and external partner applications. It supports both native authentication mechanisms (PIV/CAC, Kerberos) and federated identity providers (Login.gov, ID.me, Google, InCommons, eRA, etc.) using modern SAML and OAuth/OIDC protocols.
