Job description

Assistant Director of Day & Employment Services $1,000 Retention Bonus Dutchess & Orange Counties, NY
Are you an experienced OPWDD Day Program leader ready to take the next step?
Greystone Programs is looking for a hands-on, mission-driven Assistant Director to help lead our Day and Employment Services across multiple sites in Dutchess and Orange counties. If you have direct experience running or supervising OPWDD-licensed day habilitation programs and are ready to grow into a senior leadership role, we want to hear from you.
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate has worked inside an OPWDD day program - not just around one. You understand habilitation plans, IDT meetings, six-month reviews, and what it takes to keep a site running smoothly and in compliance. You've supervised frontline staff, supported people with I/DD in reaching meaningful goals, and you know how to translate regulatory requirements into real-world practice.
What You'll Do
  • Support the Director in overseeing day habilitation, after-school, supported employment, and pre-vocational programs across multiple sites
  • Supervise, coach, and develop program supervisors at locations in Poughkeepsie, Hopewell Junction, Wappingers Falls, and Warwick
  • Ensure compliance with OPWDD documentation, service plans, and regulatory standards
  • Conduct site visits and monitor health, safety, and environmental compliance
  • Coordinate ACCES-VR vocational services, including tracking referrals, documentation, and billing
  • Partner with Care Managers, families, and community providers to support person-centered outcomes
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing, transportation logistics, and budget oversight

What Greystone Offers
  • $1,000 Retention Bonus
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
  • Free Life Insurance & Long-Term Disability
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Tuition Assistance
  • Headspace EAP Program
  • Paid Holidays, Vacation, Sick, and Personal days
  • Weekly payroll with direct deposit
  • Free NYS Driver's Safety Course + discounts on personal auto and homeowner's insurance
  • Employee Referral Bonuses
