Job description

Greenhorn Ranch in Quincy, CA is looking for one wrangler to join our team. We provide seasonal employment from May-November. We are located on 2116 Greenhorn Ranch Rd. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and engaged.

Responsibilities

  • Feeding, watering and health care of stable animals.
  • Cleaning of arena and stable area.
  • Ride preparation, to include:  grooming saddling and bridling of horses for daily rides.
  • Leading daily rides in accordance with riding program.
  • Providing riding instruction to people with various levels of horsemanship skills.
  • Providing guests with a unique riding experience in a safe and courteous manner.

Qualifications

  • Intermediate to advanced riding skills.
  • Safety conscious.
  • Willingness to adapt to business riding program.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Willing to perform a variety of ranch maintenance and activities duties.
