Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

As an Investment Sales Advisor, you’ll gain invaluable experience and foundational knowledge through hands-on involvement in every aspect of the brokerage process. Your responsibilities include:

  • Building client relationships through cold-calls and interacting directly with buyers, sellers, and investors.
  • Learning from highly experienced brokers in the industry through mentorship and daily engagement.
  • Participating in weekly meetings focused on enhancing your skills and industry knowledge.
  • Conducting property tours and responding to client and investor questions and due diligence requests throughout the sales process.
  • Perform financial modeling, underwriting and analysis (primarily Excel based).
  • Researching and analyzing markets to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive properties.
  • Assisting in the preparation of broker price opinions, proposals, offering memorandums and other transaction-related materials by writing market overviews, property summaries, and investment highlights.
  • Ensuring data accuracy in CRM systems and validating client and prospect information.
  • Supporting the team with administrative tasks including transaction management, scanning files and inputting data.

Knowledge & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, Real Estate or Accounting with excellent academic credentials
  • Competency in Excel
  • Recent college graduate or someone with 1-3 years of experience in real estate brokerage or sales
  • Basic understanding or prior experience in investment real estate sales with specific knowledge of multifamily rental properties, a plus

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Diligent researcher and problem solver
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments/responsibilities at once
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting
  • Comfortable with client interfacing
  • High competence level in Excel
  • Willingness to travel as necessary within Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin for purposes of property tours and market research
  • Illinois Real Estate license will be required prior to start date
  • Access to automobile for property tours and market research
