Grassroots Analytics ("GA") is a political tech company dedicated to breaking down barriers in fundraising for progressive campaigns and causes. To facilitate that work, GA maintains a detailed database on more than 20 million active, left-leaning American donors, including data on net worth, ideological preferences, political donation history, non-profit donation history, demographics, and contact information. Our overall mission is to use that data to amplify forward-thinking voices, causes, and people.

Job Description

Grassroots Analytics is seeking a mission-driven go-getter who is interested in helping nonprofits reach their full potential using our suite of industry-leading data products.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about progressive causes and who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities will include: Client Onboarding & Account Management (40%)
  • Facilitate onboarding for new clients by coordinating with internal teams and ensuring contracts and invoicing details are accurate and up to date.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively resolve issues to ensure smooth campaign execution.
  • Apply knowledge of nonprofit industry trends to recommend services and strategy aligned with client goals and revenue targets.
  • Monitor client ROI and maintain engagement through regular follow-ups and performance check-ins.
  • Use project management systems to track client status, communications, and deliverables across teams.
Targeting & Engaging Clients (20%)
  • Lead strategy and prioritization of outreach to prospective nonprofit clients.
  • Identify and attend conferences, sponsorship opportunities, and sector events to increase brand visibility.
  • Develop and present sales decks and proposals tailored to client needs.
Converting Interest to Sales (20%)
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Grassroots Analytics services to respond confidently to client questions.
  • Clearly communicate the value of data-driven fundraising solutions.
  • Manage the sales pipeline from initial outreach through contract execution and handoff to delivery teams.
Cultivating Relationships (20%)
  • Build and maintain relationships with nonprofit development teams, consultants, and partner firms.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to referral partners by demonstrating the strategic value of GA's services.
  • Support ongoing partnership pipelines through consistent engagement and follow-up.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Nonprofits Account Manager position will:

  • Communicate complex solutions clearly and persuasively

Compensation

The expected salary starts at $65,000, plus uncapped commission. This role also includes a competitive benefits package.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in our Chinatown office at 806 7th St NW, Washington, DC 20001.
