Job description

Grassroots Analytics ("GA") is a political tech company dedicated to breaking down barriers in fundraising for progressive campaigns and causes. To facilitate that work, GA maintains a detailed database on more than 20 million active, left-leaning American donors, including data on net worth, ideological preferences, political donation history, non-profit donation history, demographics, and contact information. Our overall mission is to use that data to amplify forward-thinking voices, causes, and people.

Grassroots Analytics is seeking an intern to assist on the Digital fundraising team in the Fall of 2026. This role will include collaboration with our Digital Lab and peer-to-peer texting experts.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the digital team in email production and segmentation for full-service clients
  • Developing targeting and messaging strategies for peer-to-peer texting.
  • Executing data projects and research to support team analysis and client outcomes
  • Understand Grassroots Analytics' suite of products, assist in coordinated messaging and guidance for clients
  • Participate in creative and structural brainstorming sessions
  • Learning and practicing foundational skills related to digital fundraising.

Requested skills and experience:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Suite
  • Willingness to learn and be a team player
  • Digital fundraising experience is a plus
  • Campaign experience preferred, interest in political campaigns required

Compensation:
The expected salary range for this position is $20/hour. This is a full-time, in-office position based in our office in Chinatown at 806 7th St NW, Washington, D.C. 20001. The internship will run from September 8th to November 20th.
