Job description

About Soccer 5: Soccer 5 operates small-sided soccer facilities, academies, and leagues across the U.S., with a growing franchise network and deep passion for community, sport, and accessibility. Marketing plays a central role in our business: it's how we get players on fields and bring the brand to life in every city we touch.
Role Overview
We're looking for a Marketing Manager to own local marketing and grassroots growth across our system. Everyday you will be searching to find what drives growth at the local level, building repeatable systems around it, and scaling those wins across both franchise and corporate locations. You'll also serve as a creative strategist, making sure the content we put into market is genuinely good and be the key point of contact for our franchisees with autonomy that extends to developing and running trainings for them throughout the year to help them with their marketing.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you'll turn strategy into execution with little oversight and relieve the capacity bottleneck that holds good ideas back. This is a builder's role for someone with a specific strength in local and grassroots marketing.
What You'll Do
Local Marketing & Grassroots Growth
  • Own grassroots and local-market execution across the system. This includes community, schools, clubs, events, and partnerships.
  • Develop and test local marketing campaigns, grassroots activations, partnerships, and promotional strategies; measure their impacts on leads, bookings, registrations, CAC, and retention. Analyze local marketing effectiveness by implementing tracking systems and report trends and recommendations to the Director.
  • Turn successful local marketing initiatives into repeatable playbooks for both corporate and franchise locations.
  • Identify opportunities where paid digital marketing can amplify local campaigns, partnerships, and grassroots initiatives, and collaborate with the Director and agency partners to develop supporting media strategies
Franchise Marketing & Launch Support
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day marketing contact for franchisees.
  • Support franchisees hands-on with their incoming marketing and creative requests.
  • Maintain marketing calendars and campaign timelines for franchise initiatives.
  • Manage the Soccer 5 franchise digital asset system and ensure that creative assets are organized, searchable, and accessible across corporate and franchise teams.
  • Own the most critical marketing foundation tasks for franchisees including SEO optimization, Google My Business and organic social media page updates.
  • Host training sessions, create self-serve resources and identify and templates, and identify best practices and distribute to franchisees.
  • Execute the direction set by the Director; equip franchisees with turnkey local playbooks and keep their marketing on-brand.
Creative & Content Strategy
  • Act as the creative strategist for local and franchise content. Maintain creative output quality and make sure what we publish represents the Soccer 5 brand and is aligned across all locations.
  • Produce and adapt localized creative within brand standards, and manage freelance designers, agencies, and vendors to keep content moving.
  • Maintain content production calendars and ensure localized content is produced on schedule.
  • Repurpose content across markets and ensure every campaign launches with complete creative packages.

Requirements
  • 4 - 7 years in marketing with a strong understanding of grassroots initiatives, community partnerships, organic social media, and local promotions.
  • A builder who creates repeatable systems and turns great ideas into scalable playbooks.
  • Excellent creative judgement with experience planning, adapting, and publishing high quality content across digital platforms, including website and organic social media, while maintaining brand consistency and local relevance.
  • Comfortable measuring marketing performance, identifying opportunities, and making data-informed recommendations.
  • Thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment and works autonomously.
  • Experience with franchises, multi-location consumer brands, or youth sports/membership businesses is a strong plus.
  • Spanish fluency is a plus given our South Florida markets and academy families.
  • Passion for sports, fitness, or community-focused brands helps too.

Benefits
  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
  • Work From Home
