Doeren Mayhew is seeking a creative, collaborative and proactive Senior Graphics Designer to join its national Marketing team. Based in the firms Troy, Michigan headquarters, this role will be part of a creative team that brings ideas to life through bold visuals, thoughtful design and compelling brand storytelling. The Senior Graphics Designer will play an integral role in developing impactful digital and print graphics that support marketing campaigns, elevate the firms brand presence and engage both internal and external audiences across a variety of platforms.

RESPONSIBIITIES:

  • Develop eye-catching digital and print materials that translate complex ideas into clear, engaging and visually compelling content.
  • Create scroll-stopping digital content, including animated advertising, social media graphics and other brand-forward visuals.
  • Stay curious and inspired by researching current design trends, tools and emerging technologies, then sharing ideas that can elevate the firms creative work.
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects.
  • Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software.
  • Provide design expertise and guidance to outside vendors, printers and design freelancers, when needed.
  • Collaborate, where applicable, with managers to brainstorm, concept and bring fresh design ideas to life across campaigns and firmwide initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or other related field.
  • 5 + years of graphic design experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro, PowerPoint and Adobe required.
  • Strong aesthetic skills.
  • Portfolio demonstrating ability to create impactful marketing assets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrable writing, grammar and editing/proofreading skills.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized and able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Strong professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels within the firm.
