Job description

MB2 Dental, a first-of-its-kind Dental Partnership Organization (DPO) founded in 2007, is seeking a Jr. Graphic Designer to join our team in Carrollton, TX!

The Jr. Graphic Designer is a key member of the marketing team, responsible for assisting with the development and execution of creative concepts across both print and digital channels. Under the guidance of the Marketing Manager, the Jr. Designer will contribute to a high volume of daily deliverables, including social media graphics and email headers, as well as print brochures and promotional flyers, while learning and growing their design skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

This role sits within the marketing department, working closely with the Marketing Coordinator to ensure projects move efficiently from concept to completion. The Jr. Designer is expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, communicate proactively about timelines, and consistently deliver polished, on-brand work. This role reports directly to the Senior Director of Practice Marketing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design Execution: Create and produce design solutions across a broad range of formats, including print materials (brochures, direct mail, flyers, billboards) and digital materials (social media posts, email headers, website imagery, and digital ads). Due to the fast-paced nature of this role, the Jr. Designer should be comfortable managing multiple deliverables daily while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Digital & Social Media Design: Design and produce a high volume of social media graphics and email headers optimized for each platform's specifications, including image dimensions, file size limits, and safe zones. Maintain a working knowledge of platform-specific content policies and community guidelines (Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc.) to ensure all creative assets are compliant and ready for approval before submission. Stay current as platform rules and ad policies evolve.
  • AI-Assisted Design: Leverage AI image generation tools (such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly) to concept, create, and enhance visual assets. The ideal candidate is comfortable integrating AI-generated imagery into professional design workflows and understands how to prompt effectively for on-brand results.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Familiarity with Canva or similar tools for rapid social content production is a plus.
  • Brand Consistency: Apply brand guidelines accurately across all touchpoints, ensuring visual cohesion across print and digital materials. Ability to adapt templates and existing assets for new uses without sacrificing brand integrity.
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with the Marketing Coordinator to track project status, meet deadlines, and flag capacity issues early. Participate in brief reviews and provide realistic turnaround estimates.
  • File Management & Production: Maintain organized file structures and prepare production-ready files for both digital distribution and print vendors, including proper sizing, bleed, color profiles, and resolution requirements.
  • Learning and Growth: Continuously develop design skills and stay current with industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices — particularly in the evolving space of AI-assisted design.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with the Marketing Manager, Marketing Coordinator, and external print vendors. Receive and incorporate feedback graciously, and contribute ideas that improve the team's creative output.

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of graphic design experience, including internships or freelance work
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Hands-on experience with AI image generation tools
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both print and digital design work
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
