Position Summary

The Inside Sales & Product Coordinator is a hybrid role designed to bridge the gap between product management and revenue growth. This position balances process-oriented coordination with active commercial contribution toward defined sales targets. Additionally, they drive the New Product Introduction (NPI) process by tracking commercial milestones to ensure a seamless transition from product development to market launch.

This position serves as the primary commercial point of contact for assigned accounts, owning relationship management, performance updates, and issue resolution.Customer Service retains responsibilities for order entry, logistics coordination, and transactional execution.

The role serves as a central point of coordination between Sales, Product, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure commercial readiness and disciplined execution.

Responsibilities

  • Inside Sales & Revenue Generation
    • Manage and grow a defined book of business
    • Proactively identify upsell, cross-sell, and new opportunity growth within existing accounts
    • Generate and follow up on quotes to drive order conversion
    • Support outbound prospecting initiatives within assigned segments
    • Achieve defined monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives
    • Maintain CRM accuracy and pipeline visibility
    • Support field sales with account development activities
  • Product Coordination & Operational Support
    • Coordinate new product launches, pricing updates, and product transitions
    • Serve as internal point of contact for product-related inquiries
    • Monitor order flow to ensure alignment with customer expectations
    • Assist in resolving product, supply, or service issues
    • Maintain product documentation, data sheets, and internal communications
    • Support inventory alignment and forecasting as needed
  • NPI Commercial Progression Support
    • Support the New Product Introduction (NPI) process by updating and tracking defined commercial progression milestones
    • Maintain visibility to key commercial stage-gates, including:
    • Sample submissions and evaluations
    • Quote issuance
    • Customer qualification status
    • First production orders and scale ups
    • Provide regular updates on commercial readiness
    • Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure commercial objectives remain visible
    • Escalate risks or delays impacting commercialization timelines
This role supports commercial accountability within NPI but does not own overall process governance.

Personal Attributes and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in inside sales, sales operations, product coordination, or account management
  • Experience in supporting revenue targets
  • Exposure to new product launches (NPI) or product lifecycle coordination preferred
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Operations, and Supply Chain
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Excel, and ERP tools
  • Commercially driven with strong sales and account growth focus
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong process discipline
  • Effective communicator with strong customer and internal partnership skills

Pay Range

  • $80,000-90,000
