Job Title: Production Operator II / III - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (OSD)
Location: Chantilly, VA

Position Overview
We are seeking skilled Production Operators (Levels II & III) with experience in Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing. This role involves operating, cleaning, and maintaining pharmaceutical production equipment for processes such as compression, coating, granulation, and encapsulation - ensuring compliance with cGMP standards, SOPs, and FDA regulations
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain production equipment (tablet presses, encapsulates, granulators, coaters, etc.)
  • Execute manufacturing processes including weighing, blending, drying, compression, encapsulation, and coating.
  • Perform equipment cleaning, changeovers, and setup as per SOPs.
  • Conduct in-process checks, batch sampling, and documentation according to cGMP requirements.
  • Accurately complete batch records, logbooks, and related documentation.
  • Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in safety, quality, and compliance programs.
Requirements
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED (associate's degree preferred).
Experience:
  • Level II: Minimum 2-5 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
  • Level III: Minimum 5+ years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in one or more areas: Compression, Granulation, Coating, Wurster Coating, Encapsulation, or Fluid Bed Drying.
  • Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and FDA regulations.
  • Experience with state-of-the-art equipment (e.g., Fette 3200i, MG2 Planeta, Korsch XM 12) preferred.
  • Basic English reading, writing, and speaking skills required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for long periods (up to 12 hours).
  • Lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to wear PPE including respirators, gloves, and safety gear
