Job description

Job Title: Production Operator (II/III) / Sr. Operator

Industry: Pharmaceuticals / Nutraceuticals

Location: Chantilly, VA
Shifts: 1st shift, 2nd Shift (4 PM – 12:30 AM) or 3rd Shift (12 AM – 8:30 AM) + OT


Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Operation: Set up, dismantle, clean, and operate state-of-the-art tablet presses and encapsulation machinery.
  • Core Processing: Execute operations in 1+ key areas: Compression, Granulation, Encapsulation, Wurster Coating, Pan Coating, Fluid Bed Dryers, or Bead Towers.
  • cGMP Compliance: Follow SOPs, safety standards, and batch documentation in a regulated OSD environment.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Industry Experience: Direct background strictly in Pharmaceuticals or Nutraceuticals.
  • OSD Expertise: Hands-on experience with Oral Solid Dosage manufacturing.
  • Machinery Skills: Proven experience cleaning, setting up, dismantling, and running tablet presses and encapsulation units.
  • Communication: Basic English reading and speaking skills.
