Qualifications
Education:High School diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge: Proficient with office technology and Microsoft Office products
Skills: Strong typing/data entry skills; ability to work quickly with a strong attention to accuracy and detail; ability to meet deadlines; strong verbal/written communication skills; strong organizational skills
Responsibilities
1. Examine source documents for accuracy and completeness.
2. Obtain further information for incomplete documents.
3. Ensure that data being entered are within state requirements.
4. Check completed work for accuracy by comparing it to source documents.
5. Research and respond to various incorrect "error" messages
6. Sort, organize and file paperwork.
7. Code, sort information appropriately (numerically, alphabetically, or by content).
8. Ensure that new information is added to files as well as to databases.
9. Store completed documents in designated locations.
10. Maintain logbooks or records of activities and tasks.
11. Promptly respond to requests for information.
12. Comply with data integrity and security policies.
13. Update and maintain current programs records (ESL/GED), and purge or store inactive or outdated records.
