BEACON HMK Tutor (plus Kinder)

Description
Tutors lead four days of small group tutoring per week for students in grades 1-6. Tutors will also work with Kinder students for an hour each day. Tutoring shifts are Monday through Thursday 1-5:30 pm, which includes one hour per day of paid on-site prep time. This position runs Monday-Thursday following the Grand County School District school year and is a 4.5 hour per day commitment.
BEACON Afterschool is a fluid educational environment. We are seeking someone with adaptability and flexibility. Professional development and on the job training are provided.
Hourly - $21/hr for 18 hours per week
Benefits
This is a part-time hourly position, no benefits.
Requirements
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively as needed.
Follow-through with commitment to program schedule for at least one quarter. Whole school year preferred.
Ability to meet the needs of students as individuals.
Enjoys working with elementary-aged students.
Must be 18 year of age or older.
High School Diploma or GED required.
