What does a graduate sustainability engineer do?

A Graduate Sustainability Engineer assists in designing and implementing sustainable solutions within engineering projects. They typically work with senior engineers to evaluate the environmental impact of projects, help develop energy-efficient systems, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Their role often includes conducting research, analyzing data, and contributing to sustainability reports or initiatives. This entry-level position provides practical experience in sustainability practices while supporting the transition to a more sustainable built environment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a graduate sustainability engineer?

To thrive as a Graduate Sustainability Engineer, you need a relevant engineering degree (such as environmental, civil, or mechanical) and a solid understanding of sustainable design principles.
