Job description

Senior Program Manager:
The Program Manager will be responsible for the overall planning and execution of development programs from concept through production. They will coordinate deliverables from Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Application Engineering to schedules. The Program Manager will have ownership and accountability for program execution. This position involves regular communication with executive management on project status and product strategy. Excellent listening, writing skills, and strong technical competency are essential.
Duties amp; Responsibilities:
  • Cross-functional project lead responsible for developing overall program plan and driving execution to deliver on approved scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives
  • Collaborate with team members, functional managers, and other key stakeholders to secure commitments on schedule, cost, and required resources
  • Understand dependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
  • Prepare and present weekly program status to management, communicating progress on deliverables, schedule, cost, risks, and key technical issues
  • Be an ambassador to the development process and possess the ability to effectively drive changes that are necessary for continuous improvement action
  • Lead and motivate project teams to execute deliverables on time and without sacrificing required product attributes and quality
  • Work closely with functional managers to resolve resource conflicts or gaps and to facilitate issue resolution as needed
  • Escalate critical program issues and project roadblocks as necessary, and in a timely manner.
  • Analyze program risk and develop risk mitigation or contingency plans by working with appropriate subject matter experts and managers
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or Science. MBA or other graduate degree is a plus
  • 8+ years of industry experience with technology products/solutions that involve both Hardware and Software, 4+ years in a program/project leadership role; experience in Semiconductor Equipment Product Development a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage technical programs and drive several programs simultaneously
  • Extensive understanding of project and program management principles, methods, and techniques
  • Excellent judgment, seasoned analytical skills, superior oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and be effective in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate ability to consistently deliver results
  • Proficient with various project tools, including MS Project and/or Smartsheet, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Confluence; Jira experience a plus
