Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance was founded in 2007 to bring the region another level of care focused on the highest standards of clinical excellence. This focus on excellence is driving the success of the health of Premier's patients and communities. Since its founding, Premier has grown its model of clinical excellence with the addition of new clinical partners, Jen Atwood and Andrew Fortner. The team at Premier has achieved ABPTRFE accreditation for our in-house Sports Residency and Orthopedic Residency Programs. Together, the team has created an environment to continue enabling the growth of physical therapists who have a patient-centered focus on the development of the highest clinical standards.
Premier PT is an outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy group treating musculoskeletal dysfunction and pain for all conditions. We specialize in orthopedic and sports physical therapy, dry needling, vestibular interventions, splinting and certified hand therapy, industrial injury prevention and rehabilitation, recovery from auto accident injuries, post-concussion treatment, balance training, post-surgical rehabilitation, athletic training, and the treatment and rehabilitation of all types of acute and chronic pain and injury conditions. We believe strongly in serving our communities, and we provide outreach Athletic Training services to nine Delaware high schools and multiple community sport organizations. We currently have ten locations throughout Delaware!
Job Description
Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance has an immediate opportunity for a motivated Director of Aquatic Therapy with an entrepreneurial spirit for our fun and energetic outpatient clinic in Dover, DE. Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance has created an environment that embraces and rewards evidence-based clinical excellence and genuine care for patients above all else. Our goal is to be the regional leader in clinical excellence, providing the best outcomes for our patients. Our outstanding physical therapists drive that mission!
The Director of Aquatic Therapy will be responsible for assessing and providing therapeutic interventions to patients with a variety of physical ailments in an aquatic environment. The successful candidate will design and implement personalized treatment plans that leverage the therapeutic benefits of water-based therapy techniques to enhance recovery and promote overall well-being. This position requires a combination of clinical expertise and an ability to create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for patients.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Graduate Program or APTA program
  • Current State of Delaware Physical Therapist (PT) License or State of Delaware Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
  • CPR certification
  • Outgoing and energetic personality
