Your Impact as a Student Advocate
As a Student Advocate, you'll be a vital connector between Mission Pet Health and your school. You'll build relationships, promote career opportunities, and strengthen our connection with students, faculty, and clubs. This is your opportunity to make an impact while growing your own professional network and gaining real-world leadership experience.
  • Be a Key Liaison: You will serve as the primary link between Mission Pet Health and your university's students, faculty, and student organizations.
  • Champion Student Engagement: You'll promote awareness and participation in our DVM student programs through networking, email outreach, and attending student meetings.
  • Organize Campus Events: You will host at least one engagement event per semester, such as a lunch & learn or meet-and-greet, managing all logistics from scheduling to catering.
  • Share Clinical Opportunities: You'll share information with your peers about externships, job openings, and career paths within the Mission Pet Health network.
  • Gather Campus Insights: You'll keep our team informed about job fairs and other campus events, assist with visits from our teammates, and help promote our presence at your school.
  • Gain Clinical Experience: You will complete at least one clinical rotation at a Mission Pet Health hospital within your first year as an Advocate.
  • Support Social Media: You'll help our social media efforts by providing monthly content, such as photos or stories about your experiences and student events.
