Job Summary
The Graduate Strategy Intern is an early-career role within CRH Americas Building Products (ABP) group. The intern will provide data and research support to the strategy team, helping senior management understand markets, spot trends, and identify new value pools for the business. ABP relies on data-driven analysis to guide decisions across a large, varied network of operating companies. This internship offers hands-on exposure to how a global manufacturing enterprise uses macro data and research to inform strategy. It is a good fit for a curious, self-driven graduate who enjoys working with data and wants to learn how strategic decisions get made.
Job Location
This is an onsite position located in Atlanta, GA
Job Responsibilities
  • Gather, clean, and analyze data from internal and external sources to support the strategy team.
  • Research markets, industry trends, and macro data to help senior management identify new value pools and growth opportunities.
  • Build clear charts, simple models, and presentation materials that turn data into easy-to-understand insights.
  • Support ongoing strategic projects and reviews with timely, accurate analysis.
  • Where helpful, use AI and analytics tools to make data work faster and more useful

Job Requirements
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in data and business strategy.
  • Solid Excel and PowerPoint skills. Familiarity with tools such as SQL, Python, or Power BI / Tableau is a plus.
  • Interest in or exposure to AI tools (e.g. using LLMs for research and analysis) is a plus, though not required.
  • Curious, organized, and comfortable learning in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation
The pay for this role is $30-$35/hr.
