The Business Development Manager will drive new revenue through strategic outreach, partnership development, and contract acquisition within public sector and enterprise markets. This role is responsible for identifying qualified opportunities, nurturing relationships with decision-makers, and collaborating internally to close high-value contracts.

This is not a transactional sales role. We are seeking a strategic thinker who understands long-cycle government sales, compliance-driven environments, and consultative solution selling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within government agencies, municipalities, law enforcement, and enterprise clients.
  • Develop and manage a qualified pipeline aligned with company revenue targets.
  • Build relationships with procurement officers, HR leaders, compliance teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • Lead discovery calls and present KENTECH’s investigative and SaaS solutions with clarity and credibility.
  • Partner with Product, Operations, and Compliance teams to align solutions with client requirements.
  • Support RFP strategy, including positioning, pre-proposal conversations, and strategic follow-up.
  • Track activity, pipeline progression, and forecast revenue using CRM tools.
  • Represent KENTECH at industry conferences, public sector networking events, and GovTech forums.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging contract opportunities.

  • Consistent pipeline growth with qualified government and enterprise leads.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, enterprise sales, or government contracting.

  • Strong understanding of consultative selling methodologies.
  • Comfortable navigating procurement processes and government decision-making structures.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence.
  • Self-driven, strategic, and highly accountable.
Preferred Experience
  • Background screening, investigations, GovTech, SaaS, or compliance-based services.
  • Experience responding to or positioning for RFPs.
