Job Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers and/or architects across multiple product areas.

  • Drive development ofexistingapplications, includingnewplatformswheremajorityof the work is AI-driven.

  • Allocate andvalidateengineering resources based on Scrum team needs and business priorities.

  • Activelyparticipatein the engineering process, contributing to software design, development, and integration.

  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and career development conversations.

  • Promote domain knowledge sharing and technical excellence across the team.

  • Provide technical leadership and serve as a technology advisor to the business.

  • Represent direct reports in discussions about career growth, assignments, and opportunities.

  • Stay current with software technology trends and ensure our solutionsremainmarketable and competitive.

  • Support organizational initiatives, including process improvements and special projects.

  • May occasionally handle Level II technical support calls after hours.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.

  • Proven ability tohire,lead and grow high-performing engineering teams.

  • Strong understanding ofsoftwareengineering principlesand experience integrating AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude, Cursor) into development workflows.

  • Experience with SaaS orotherenterprise software development.

  • Familiarity with datamodelling,ingestionandtransformation.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with government-facing applicationswithinFedRampcompliance.

  • Background in legal tech or eDiscovery.

  • Exposure tostrategic thinking and planning

  • Passionateaboutbuildingapplications with intuitiveuser experience.

Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.

The expected salary range for this role is between following values:

$155,000 and $233,000

The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
