  Ground C2 Systems EngineerLocation:  Camp Pendleton, CA
Remote Status: On-SiteJob Id:  13885-MCTSSA# of Openings:  2 Auria is looking to hire a Ground C2 Systems Engineer to support the Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA). This role is 100% Onsite, Camp Pendleton MCTSSA Secure Compound. This Ground C2 Systems Engineer position will provide technical and engineering support for developmental test and evaluation of the Advanced Reconnaissance Vehicle (ARV) Mission Role Variants and the Family of Light Armored Vehicles (FoLAV) in support of Program Manager Light Armored Vehicles (PM LAV). The individual designs, configures, and maintains ARV test capabilities including a deployable System Integration Laboratory (SIL); develops and validates operational test scenarios, test plans, test cases, and test procedures; and operates vehicle Command and Control (C2) applications in representative ARV staff positions during test execution. This position provides dedicated, non-overlapping coverage for an assigned vendor vehicle or the headquarters element in order to protect vendor proprietary data and ensure unbiased analysis. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO: * Design, configure, and maintain ARV test capabilities, including a man-portable SIL environment capable of deployment to test locations outside of MCTSSA, operating essential MAGTF C2 software applications to include networking and radio assets. * Develop and validate operational test scenarios, test plans, test cases, and test procedures in accordance with the ARV Capability Development Document (CDD) and Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) architectures. * Perform technical and evaluation assessments as an operator in staff positions of ARVC4UAS or LAV C2 variants during static, mobile, and afloat scenarios, including the operation of vehicle C2 applications and the Mobile MAGTF Test Suite (M2TS) during test execution. * Develop a requirements traceability matrix and comprehensive test plans, with plans submitted not later than 60 days after contract award and government comments incorporated within 10 business days of receipt. * Enter all Test Incident Reports (TIRs) into the designated tracking system within 24 hours of identification. * Deliver final test reports within 15 business days of test event completion, free of material errors and in the government-provided format. * Conduct technical assessments, systems engineering analysis, and integration evaluations of emerging technologies for use with the LAV Family of Vehicles and ARV, and familiarize test teams with these technologies to determine feasibility, suitability, and operational relevance. * Support the delivery and installation of Mobile MAGTF Test Suites to vendor sites and conduct site visits to perform dry runs of test cases. * Prepare test and evaluation architecture diagrams, daily test status reports during active testing, and trip reports within 5 business days of trip completion. WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES: * Four years' experience in operating, administering, training, or testing Ground C2 systems such as Joint Tactical Common Operational Picture (COP) Workstation (JTCW), Tactical COP Server (TCS), Global Command and Control System (GCCS), Tactical Service Oriented Architecture (TSOA), Common Hosting Environment (CHE), Combat Data Network (CDN), Joint Battle Command - Platform (JBC-P), or MAGTF Common Handheld (MCH). * Demonstrated expertise in developmental test and evaluation of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, and Intelligence (C5I) systems in a system-of-systems environment. * Active Secret Security Clearance which requires US Citizenship * Mission-Driven Professional: Collaborative contributor motivated by the opportunity to develop cutting-edge solutions that protect and serve both the nation and the world.  Physical Requirements for the role: This position requires the ability to work at a computer for extended periods, including viewing monitors, using keyboards, and operating standard office and test equipment. The role also requires the ability to enter, occupy, and perform test duties within small vehicle passenger compartments during static, mobile, and afloat scenarios while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), including body and head protective gear. The individual must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, work in field and shipboard conditions, and lift and carry equipment up to 40 pounds, including man-portable server and radio components associated with the System Integration Laboratory and Mobile MAGTF Test Suites. WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:  * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (desired). * Experience administering VMware ESXi, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Windows Server Operating Systems (desired). * Working knowledge of network administration and troubleshooting of Cisco routing and switching (desired). * CompTIA Security+ certification (desired).
