Job description

Job Summary:
Google is a leading technology company, and they are seeking a Support Data Analytics Manager to lead a team of Business Intelligence Developers. This role involves delivering innovative BI solutions to enhance business growth and efficiency for Google Cloud's Go-to-Market teams, including managing data pipelines and analytical models for automated reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of technical excellence and curiosity.
• Translate proactive cloud support strategy into the BI strategy and multi-year roadmap for the Cloud Support organization.
• Lead the team in the E2E execution of BI roadmap, including business requirements gathering, data access navigation, data engineering, metrics design and user journey based Looker dashboard reporting.
• Partner closely with the Looker Engineering team in advocating features for customer support, adopting and enabling AI capabilities to generate faster and better insights for business decision making (i.e., Gemini models, conversational analytics).
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics) or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
• 5 years of leadership experience, such as people management, team lead, mentorship or coaching.
• Experience using BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI to create visualizations and dashboards.
Preferred:
• Experience supporting global customer support organizations.
• Experience with AI-enabled BI solutions.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Workspace products and support processes.
• Familiarity with statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining techniques.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
