Job Summary:
CMA is seeking a Senior Tableau Certified Administrator responsible for maintaining Tableau environments in both Windows and Linux environments in GCP Cloud and on-premises. The role involves managing Tableau software upgrades, monitoring server performance, and implementing disaster recovery procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain various Tableau environments in both Windows and Linux environments in GCP Cloud and on-premises.
• Perform installation configuration and maintenance of Tableau servers in Windows servers and Google Cloud.
• Manage Tableau software upgrades and patch management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Tableau server performance issues and monitor Tableau Server performance metrics like CPU usage, memory utilization, and query response times.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks.
• Troubleshoot and perform Tableau node disaster recovery tasks.
• Develop and automate daily Tableau maintenance scripts for taking backups and managing resources like log file cleanup etc.
• Experience in implementing Tableau SSO via SAML using ADFS.
• Experience in implementing Tableau SSO via SAML using Google Identity Provider (IDP).
• Experience in implementing Tableau SSO using OpenID Connect.
• Perform Tableau User Management activities and site administration activities.
• Manage regular backups of Tableau Server data and configuration and automate the backup in both Windows and GCP Linux environments.
• Implement disaster recovery procedures to restore data in case of system failure.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 8+ years of experience in setting up Tableau multi-node high availability clusters using Windows servers and Linux servers in cloud environments like GCP.
• 3 years Data Warehouse experience.
• 3 years Medicaid experience.
• Strong understanding of Tableau Server Enterprise deployment Architecture and Administration features.
• Proficiency in system administration tasks including network configuration and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
• Perform Installation configuration and maintenance of Tableau servers in Windows servers and Google Cloud.
• Manage Tableau software upgrades and patch management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Tableau server performance issues and Monitor Tableau Server performance metrics like CPU usage, memory utilization, and query response times.

• Tableau Server Certified Associate
Preferred:
• 8+ years of experience in Tableau dashboard development.
• Extensive experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau-driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture.
• 8+ years of experience with Oracle RDBMS and Unix Shell Scripting.
• 8+ years of strong experience with PL/SQL.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python.
• Proven experience in developing complex data-driven visually appealing tableau analytical dashboards.
• Experience with Cloud databases like Google BigQuery and Snowflake etc.
• Ability to interpret technical or dashboard structure and translate complex business requirements to technical specifications.
• Understanding of advanced calculations and statistical functions.
• A solid understanding of SQL, relational database management systems, data modeling, and normalization.
• Strong communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience with Tableau architecture and administration is preferred.
• Experience with other BI tools such as OBIEE.
• Medicaid or any healthcare-related project experience.
