As a Google Street View Trekker, your workdays are often spent outdoors, walking or hiking through various urban, rural, or even remote locations to capture 360-degree imagery with specialized camera equipment. You'll plan routes, collect and log data, and regularly upload imagery to centralized systems, sometimes collaborating with local contacts or team members. The environments can range from bustling city streets to hiking trails, beaches, or tourist landmarks, so adaptability is essential. While much of your work may be independent, you may also coordinate with mapping teams or receive guidance on specific collection areas. This role is ideal for those who enjoy travel, working independently, and embracing new and ever-changing settings.
