Build More Than Projects. Help Build a Company.

ICG Construction & Landscaping is seeking an experienced, highly organized Construction Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates exceptionally well, solves problems before they become emergencies, and takes pride in delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. If you're a leader who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple projects, and seeing projects come together from the ground up, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As a Construction Project Manager, you will oversee residential and commercial construction projects from pre-construction through final completion. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and our internal team while working directly with company ownership to ensure every project is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and to ICG's high standards.

This is not an office-only position. Our Project Managers divide their time between the office and the field, leading projects from start to finish while building strong relationships with clients and ensuring exceptional workmanship throughout every phase of construction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple residential and commercial construction projects simultaneously
  • Lead projects from pre-construction through final completion
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, inspectors, and field personnel
  • Order materials and ensure timely deliveries
  • Review plans, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work
  • Manage project budgets, job costing, and change orders
  • Perform regular site visits and quality control inspections
  • Identify and resolve issues before they impact schedule or budget
  • Maintain excellent communication with clients throughout each project
  • Work closely with ownership to improve systems, processes, and project efficiency
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and meet ICG's quality standards
  • Maintain organized project documentation and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and local building requirements

Who You Are

We're looking for a leader—not someone who simply manages a schedule.

You are someone who:

  • Takes ownership of every project from start to finish
  • Is highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Leads with confidence, professionalism, and integrity
  • Communicates effectively with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members
  • Builds strong relationships while holding subcontractors accountable
  • Thinks ahead and solves problems before they become emergencies
  • Understands budgets, job costing, and financial accountability
  • Delivers outstanding customer service and quality craftsmanship
  • Is proactive rather than reactive
  • Wants to help build a growing company—not just manage projects

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of Construction Project Management experience
  • Residential construction experience required (custom homes and remodels preferred)
  • Commercial construction experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, and job costing
  • Ability to read blueprints, plans, and construction documents
  • Knowledge of permitting, inspections, and local building requirements
  • Experience using Buildertrend or a similar construction management software (Procore, CoConstruct, JobTread, etc.) is required
  • Strong computer skills using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple active projects simultaneously
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred

  • Proficiency in building and maintaining Gantt charts for project scheduling.
  • General Contractor experience
  • Estimating experience
  • Insurance restoration experience
  • Landscaping construction or site development experience
  • OSHA Certification

Compensation

$60,000–$80,000 per year DOE

Full-Time | Salaried Position

Performance bonus opportunities based on individual and company performance.

Benefits

  • Company Truck (for work purposes)
  • Company Gas Card (for work-related travel)
  • Company Cell Phone
  • Paid Time Off
  • Performance Bonus Opportunities
  • Professional Development Assistance
  • Referral Program
  • Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance (position dependent)
  • Long-term career growth opportunities

Schedule

We believe in working hard while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

  • Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
  • Friday, Saturday & Sunday: Off

This is a full-time salaried position based on a 4-day, 10-hour workweek (4/10 schedule). Depending on project demands and seasonal workload, the schedule may occasionally transition to a 4/9 schedule or a traditional 5/8 schedule. Project Managers are expected to proactively manage their projects, and occasional meetings, site visits, or additional hours may be required to ensure projects stay on schedule and our clients receive exceptional service.

We're looking for someone who wants more than just another Project Manager position. We want someone who wants to help build a company, improve systems, develop lasting relationships with clients, and make a meaningful impact on every project.

If you're looking for a long-term career with a rapidly growing company that values leadership, initiative, and excellence, we'd love to hear from you.
