Job description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Project Manager to provide professional leadership, relationship management, and tactical execution for large-scale enterprise projects. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders while guiding key modernization initiatives.

Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid: 1 2 days onsite per week)

Interview Process: Initial interview via Microsoft Teams $\rightarrow$ Final interview in-person

Key Project Focus

  • Lead the end-to-end migration of an on-premises Oracle Data Warehouse to Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) using BigQuery, Dataflow, and DataStream.

Must-Have Core Skills

  • 10+ Years of Experience: Proven track record in complex IT project/portfolio coordination across multiple business areas and geographies.
  • Data Warehouse & Cloud Migration: Strong background in data modernization, specifically moving on-premises databases to Cloud ecosystems (Google Cloud preferred).
  • Technical Translation: Exceptional ability to translate complex technology terms and SDLC concepts to non-technical business partners.
  • Framework Flexibility: Deep knowledge of multiple methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid frameworks.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: 10+ years of experience driving senior staff to success and mentoring intermediate project managers.

Highly Desired Skills

  • Experience managing and tracking project workflows within Azure DevOps.
  • Active PMP Certification.
  • Prior experience managing large-scale public sector or state-level software projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, monitor, and maintain comprehensive project plans, risk registers, and budgets.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple internal stakeholders and contracted vendors.
