Short Description:
In this position, you will collaborate with senior management, stakeholders and the overall project teams to meet business objectives and provide professional leadership, while fostering mentorship, respect and trust.
Complete Description:
The essential functions of this role are as follows:
Oversee multiple projects to ensure proper management towards successful conclusion.
Manage large enterprise-type projects that involve multiple internal stakeholders or contracted resources.
Develop, monitor, and maintain project plans.
Define users and project team members' roles and responsibilities on the project.
Define user requirements, deliverables, and approvals.
Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
Communicate project status to management and project stakeholders.
Mentor and provide guidance to intermediate level project managers including recommending training and experience.
Skills:
Experience in IT Project Management and IT digital transformation.
Prior experience working on *** large software projects desired.
Strong knowledge of information systems development life cycle, information technology, project tools and approaches to development and implementation.
Experience with multiple methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
Ability to translate technology terms and explain concepts of the SDLC to program/business/stakeholders who may have little to no exposure working on or with large software projects/teams.
Strong knowledge in leading modernizing Oracle, PL/SQL, data warehouses using BigQuery, Dataflow, and DataStream.
Ability to work with technical team members, and other IT professionals to flesh out project plans and risk registers and overcome obstacles.
Strong communication and presentation skills required.
Description:
Responsible for relationship management, project planning, resource management, tactical execution, and the creation and/or oversight of final project deliverables.
