Job description

Job Summary:

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects, working closely with stakeholders to manage project schedules and communicate with cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of standardized application development processes for the global Google Data Center (GDC) organization.
• Enable the collection of critical path process metrics from Tech Optimization and Platform Solutions (TOPS) managed systems.
• Aid in the development and implementation of a horizontal customer engagement process to efficiently triage, prioritize, and route feedback from TOPS stakeholders and system users.
• Support the establishment of a GDC process and systems architecture framework to enable strategic prioritization and decision-making related to process re-engineering and system development programs.
• Provide technical program management support for GDC operational domains (e.g., data center operations, CSRM) as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program management.
• Experience with data analytics and process.
• Experience managing the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Preferred:
• 3 years of experience in technical program management, managing all phases of a project and leading daily activities.
• 3 years of program management experience redefining the process, designing business solutions through lean project management.
• 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Knowledge of data centers, cloud operations, facilities management, engineering and construction.
• Ability to work with engineering for product implementation to deliver business tools and systems.
