What You'll Do as a Part-Time Nurse Supervisor

  • Conduct initial client assessments and ongoing follow-up visits to evaluate care needs, monitor client well-being, and ensure services remain aligned with care goals.
  • Develop and update individualized care plans based on client needs, changing conditions, and feedback from clients and their families.
  • Provide clinical oversight and support to caregivers, helping ensure safe, effective, and compliant care delivery.
  • Train caregivers on client-specific care needs, safety procedures, dementia care techniques, and home care best practices.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, families, caregivers, physicians, and community partners to support exceptional care experiences.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, assessments, care records, and required compliance paperwork.
  • Respond to client, family, and caregiver concerns with professionalism, empathy, and a solution-focused approach.
  • Coach caregivers through performance evaluations, onboarding, ongoing education, and corrective action when needed to support their success.
