Home Health RNs & LPNs needed for Home Care agency in Atlanta, GA

Zenux Healthcare Services is currently seeking Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses for home health positions! We are a home health agency located in Atlanta, with cases in Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fulton, Fayette, Forsyth, Gwinnett, Henry, Newton, Rockdale & Walton Counties. These are full and part-time positions. Preferred candidates must be willing to start immediately.

We are hiring RN and LPN nurses for assessment and home health visits of clients in the Atlanta Metropolitan area. The successful applicant must be professional, skilled and relate well with clients and their families. This position reports to the company's Director.

Minimum Requirements: Current RN / LPN License, current TB test result, CPR & BLS Certification, vehicle insurance, and driver's license. Must pass criminal/drug history check and possess a good knowledge of professional nursing quantitative skills. Minimum of one year of home health experience.

We have clients in the following areas: Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, Newton, Rockdale & Walton Counties.

Signing and yearly bonus available. Compensation commensurate with experience.

Job Requirements

RN Job Responsibilities:

Perform initial assessments and reevaluations of home health clients.

Develop and implement a Plan of Care for clients with necessary revisions as client progresses.

Provide skilled nursing in a home health setting.

Chart and submit accurate and up-to-date clinical notes for all clients in EMR system.

Supervise LPNs, Companion/Sitter, and Personal care aides.

Provide education and support to clients and their families.

Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases.

LPN Job Responsibilities:

Provide skilled nursing and supervisory visits in a home health setting.

Implement a Plan of Care for clients with necessary revisions as client progresses.

Initiate contact with all clients upon acceptance of case.

Submit all completed clinical documentation by the specified timeframe.

Manage client's progress according to the plan of care.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in EMR system.

Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases.

Maintain consistent visitation schedule for assigned area.

QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should have:
  • Ability to communicate effectively with office administrators, clients, and physicians.
  • Currently licensed by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
  • Minimum of (1) year home health experience.
  • Professional nursing quantitative skills.
  • Knowledge of infection control practices.
  • Experience in Gtube/Trach/Vent is a plus.
