Job description

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent organization skills

• Attention to detail

• Show consistent desire to learn the company’s products and procedures

• Positive attitude

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to kneel, lift, bend, twist and push in the normal course of work

• Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours

HIGHLY DESIRABLE

• Experience in finishing wood

• Experience with standard wood manufacturing equipment

• Familiarity with Google Sheets

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Burn, brush, finish & package various wood designs

• Review work orders to ensure that production orders are complete, accurate, and ready

for production

• Operate production equipment such as charring machine, sander, and automatic finishing

machines

• Perform basic quality control procedures to ensure product meets company standards

• Maintain clean work space by periodically cleaning floors and cleaning machines

• Use Google Sheets to record, track, and tally the progress of jobs

• Maintain an organized work space
