Job description

The IT Intern supports the IT team across our corporate and studio locations, with the help desk ticketing system as home base. Tickets are monitored, triaged, and worked or escalated, and the intern assists the team with day-to-day support and administrative tasks. This is a part-time role built as a learning opportunity, the right person will get real, hands-on exposure to how a multi-location IT operation runs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor the help desk ticketing system, triaging incoming tickets, resolving what can be resolved, and escalating the rest with clear notes
  • Provide Tier 1 technical support to corporate and studio staff (hardware, software, systems access)
  • Assist with troubleshooting member-facing issues, including digital studio services
  • Assist with day-to-day administration of core systems, including:
    • Google Workspace
    • Microsoft Entra
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Monday.com
    • Mindbody or similar club management software
  • Support onboarding and offboarding tasks, including email and account provisioning, file access, and system permissions
  • Help maintain asset inventory and documentation related to systems, users, and processes
  • Assist with process documentation and knowledge base articles as procedures are learned
  • Provide occasional hands-on support for studio openings, relocations, or corporate initiatives
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability, tickets are followed through to resolution
  • Clear communicator who can translate technical issues into plain language for staff and members
  • Organized and process-driven, comfortable keeping documentation and ticket notes accurate and current
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (DHCP, DNS, routers, wireless)
  • Coursework or hands-on experience in IT, cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Certifications such as Google IT Support, CompTIA ITF+, or CompTIA A+ are a plus, not a requirement
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Willingness to travel locally for occasional studio or event support
