Trove Brands is seeking a highly analytical and forward-thinking Associate SEO & GEO & Owned Media Manager to lead and execute organic growth strategies across multiple brands, including BlenderBottle, Whiskware, EcoBrite, and Oath Nutrition.

  • This role will own the development and execution of both traditional SEO and emerging GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies, ensuring Trove Brands is positioned for success across search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and other answer engines.
  • This is a hands-on role for someone who not only understands where search is going, but is excited to build and manage that strategy from the ground up.
  • You will be responsible for driving visibility, traffic, and long-term growth through data-driven content, technical optimization, and ongoing experimentation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning and developing SEO and GEO strategies across multiple brands
  • Defining how each brand shows up across traditional search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms
  • Continuously evolving those strategies based on changes in algorithms, AI behavior, and consumer discovery trends
  • This person will execute end-to-end SEO initiatives including:
    • Keyword research
    • On-page optimization
    • Technical improvements
    • Content optimization
  • They will also:
    • Design and implement GEO strategies to improve brand visibility in AI-generated answers and conversational search experiences
    • Optimize website content and structure to improve indexing, ranking, and AI retrieval performance
  • The role also includes:
    • Developing and managing owned media strategies such as blogs, landing pages, and educational content to drive organic growth
    • Partnering with content and creative teams to produce content that performs across both search engines and AI platforms
    • Building scalable content frameworks that support both SEO rankings and GEO discoverability
  • You will be responsible for:
    • Tracking and analyzing performance across both traditional organic search and GEO visibility
    • Identifying opportunities through data and user behavior
    • Leading ongoing testing and experimentation to refine strategies and maximize impact
  • This role works across multiple brands and teams, including:
    • Ensuring consistent application of SEO and GEO best practices
    • Partnering with digital marketing, product, and development teams
    • Acting as the internal subject matter expert on SEO, GEO, and organic growth

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of experience in SEO and GEO, organic growth, or content strategy roles
  • Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals including:
    • Keyword research
    • On-page optimization
    • Technical SEO
  • Demonstrated experience with GEO, AI search, and emerging discovery platforms
  • Experience executing content and owned media strategies that drive organic traffic is important, along with familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
  • You should be comfortable analyzing data and translating insights into action, and have strong written communication skills.
  • The ideal candidate is:
