Job description

IV.AI is an AI-powered decision intelligence company helping some of the world’s most recognized brands and organizations transform complex data into actionable insights. Our proprietary AI platform enables leaders to make faster, smarter decisions through human-readable intelligence, predictive analytics, and scalable AI systems.

We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented SEO & GEO Manager to lead and scale our organic search and AI discoverability initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of SEO, AI, content strategy, analytics, and digital growth. The ideal candidate understands both traditional search optimization and the rapidly evolving world of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), including how content surfaces within platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI Overviews.

This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role for someone who enjoys building programs, testing strategies, and driving measurable growth inside a fast-moving AI company.

Salary Range: Expected salary range: $95,000 – $135,000 depending on experience, capabilities, and location. Equity participation may also be available as part of the compensation package.

Timezone: PST

Employment Type: Full Time Employee

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute SEO and GEO strategies to increase organic visibility, inbound traffic, and AI discoverability.

  • Monitor and optimize how IV.AI and client content surfaces across search engines and AI-powered platforms.

  • Conduct technical SEO audits including crawlability, indexation, site structure, page performance, metadata, schema markup, and internal linking.

  • Partner with engineering, product, and marketing teams to implement SEO and GEO best practices across digital properties.

  • Build reporting dashboards and recurring performance insights for leadership and stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with content and research teams to identify high-value keyword, topic, and thought leadership opportunities.

  • Translate search trends, analytics, and user behavior into actionable recommendations that improve engagement and conversion.

  • Support link-building, authority growth, and digital reputation initiatives.

  • Evaluate and manage SEO/GEO tools including Google Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, GA4, and emerging AI visibility platforms.

  • Stay current on algorithm changes, AI search trends, and evolving best practices across organic discovery.

QualificationsRequired
  • 4 - 7 years of experience in SEO, organic growth, digital marketing, or related fields.

  • Strong understanding of technical SEO fundamentals and content optimization strategies.

  • Experience working with SEO and analytics platforms such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, GA4, Google Search Console, or similar tools.

  • Familiarity with AI-driven search experiences and how LLMs surface and cite content.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred
  • Experience with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) or AI visibility strategies.

  • Experience supporting B2B, SaaS, AI, technology, or data-driven organizations.

  • Understanding of structured data/schema and modern search infrastructure.

  • Experience with content strategy, thought leadership, or editorial optimization.

  • Familiarity with AI tooling ecosystems and emerging search technologies.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to test, iterate, and move quickly.

Who are we?

IV.AI is the world's smartest AI platform with a focus on enterprise. We have grown fast but aim to retain the scrappy nature that enabled us to build big ML models that outperform the industry standards. There are a lot of companies right now that talk about the potential impact of AI while we hustle hard and have actually proven the benefits repeatedly. See validation on the homepage or via case studies and press.

We are…

Helpful

We’re trying to help everyone become better informed by using machine learning - whether it's a model that makes sense of noisy social media data, a voice-powered interface, or a conversational interface, we want to help others make more informed decisions by using AI.

Inclusive

Our inclusive culture values people regardless of their background, education, or upbringing. In order to train machines to act appropriately, we need to be representative of the entire population. AI is only as good as the teams working on it and the training it receives.

Hardworking

You should expect hard challenges working with our tier 1 client list. In just 3 years we have built a scalable platform with 1000s of AI solutions for Fortune 500 companies including Sony, Netflix, Time Warner, Fox, Capital One, Estée Lauder, to name a few.

Professional

Being professional and respectful of our clients is of the utmost importance. We work with blue-chip clients and we sometimes work with very sensitive data.

Collaborative

Our employees are constantly problem-solving and assessing their own output to maximize delivery. It's important that our team is always looking for the best way of addressing problems so we can manage customer expectations.

Smart

We never try to write more code than is necessary for a task. We modularize and systemize everything. Concurrency is important to us and simple solutions always win. We work together to determine best practices/processes and to stick to them. We believe that no challenge is too hard.

Evolving

We’re still young. Expect that you'll be part of a core team, able to have a say in the future of the company. Also expect that the senior team has no problem being challenged: they love to listen.

Who you should be...

You should love to build things and be excited about AI. You should be smart and always willing to learn. You'll be able to accept your own limitations and be honest that nobody knows everything, anybody is able to ask for support. You will always be looking for solutions that can speed up workflows. Efficiency is at the top of your mind. You like doing things the "right" way, but are pragmatic when you have a deadline.

Compensation Range: $95K - $135K
