Job description

Job Summary:
Google is a leading technology company that prioritizes user needs and innovation. In this role, the Product Manager will guide products from conception to launch, working cross-functionally to connect technical and business aspects while driving strategic initiatives for the Google Distributed Cloud Business Strategy team.
Responsibilities:
• Develop market and strategic analysis, working with leadership and product management teams (e.g., market sizing, buy/build/partner assessment, competitive strategy/game theory).
• Develop commercial models, pricing/packaging strategies, business case, and financial models/projections.
• Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, partner teams, etc.) to drive product-specific GTM strategies (e.g., strategic partnerships, channel strategy and incentives, customer engineering/solutions architect community/feedback).
• Develop mid- and long-term strategies, build new product and potential mergers and acquisitions business cases.
• Provide insightful data-driven strategic recommendations to leadership, based on strategic insights, analysis, experience, and technical acumen.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
• 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, 0 to 1, etc.).
Preferred:
• Experience leading cross-functional operational and strategic initiatives.
• Experience with Cloud business.
• Ability to synthesize data into useful formats and bring insights.
• Ability to manage senior stakeholders and communicate with a technical management team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills.
