Job Summary:
Worldscape is a cutting-edge platform designed to unify distributed data, sensors, and intelligent agents across various environments. They are looking for a passionate Junior Game Developer to collaborate with senior engineers and contribute to building interactive game experiences while developing their skills in game programming and debugging.
Responsibilities:
• Implement gameplay features, mechanics, and systems under guidance from senior developers.
• Assist in developing and maintaining core game logic, tools, and player-facing functionality.
• Collaborate with designers and artists to translate creative ideas into working game features.
• Debug and resolve gameplay, performance, and stability issues.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
• Contribute to sprint planning, task estimation, and agile development workflows.
• Write clear documentation for implemented features and systems.
• Continuously learn and apply best practices in game development, performance optimization, and player experience.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent practical experience) in Computer Science, Game Development, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in game development, internships, academic projects, or personal/game jam projects.
• Experience programming in C++, C#, or similar languages, ideally within a game engine environment (Unity, Unreal, or equivalent).
• Basic understanding of game loops, gameplay mechanics, and real-time systems.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to communicate clearly, ask questions, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Passion for games and a strong desire to grow as a game developer.
Preferred:
• Experience with Modern Game Engines through coursework, projects, or internships.
• Exposure to areas such as physics, animation systems, UI implementation, or gameplay scripting.
