Job Description

Seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer (Level 4) to support the design, development, testing, and implementation of Artificial Intelligence algorithms and software solutions. This role will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams in a fast-paced, high-tech environment to develop scalable AI-driven applications and improve software development workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, document, and implement AI algorithms and models using industry-standard tools and methodologies

  • Lead technical activities and mentor junior engineers on software engineering tasks and best practices

  • Develop software applications using C, C++, Python, or other modern programming languages

  • Support automated testing activities using frameworks such as Google Test and PyTest

  • Contribute to CI/CD workflow automation and optimization using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD

  • Collaborate with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) teams for software integration and testing activities

  • Leverage AI tools and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch to accelerate software development and testing processes

  • Participate in software integration, debugging, validation, and performance improvement activities

  • Create and maintain technical documentation and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and software engineering best practices

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with C, C++, Python, or modern programming languages

  • Experience with software development lifecycle and Agile development environments

  • Knowledge of automated testing methodologies and testing frameworks

  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced engineering environment

  • Ability to work onsite in Cambridge, MA

Preferred Skills

  • Experience or education related to AI algorithms and AI development tools

Education / Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical field with typically 5+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
