Golisano Children's Hospital of SWFL- Lee Health is seeking a Pediatric Intensivist!
Nestled near the stunning beaches of Southwest Florida, Golisano Children's Hospital at Lee Health is a modern, state-of-the-art facility delivering vital and lifesaving care for children and their families throughout the region. The 135 bed regional hospital cares for children across five counties and is the only children's hospital between Tampa and Miami. Golisano provides a variety of specialized services for our community's children ranging from emergency care to behavioral health, surgery to critical care, orthopedics, cancer treatment, cardiology, and more. The hospital features a 36-bed medical/surgical unit, a 16-bed PICU, and a 70-bed NICU with 24/7 neonatology coverage.
Lee Health is a nonprofit organization with more than 17,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and more than 1,200 employed primary care and specialty care providers with over 100 practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization has four acute care hospitals and one children's hospital that together house over 1,800 hospital beds.
Position Information:
Lee Physician Group (LPG) - Pediatric Intensivist is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Critical Care Medicine to join their growing team of 5 physicians and 10 advance providers (APs). The candidate for this position must have completed a Pediatric Intensivist Fellowship from an ACGME accredited program and must be Sedation certified. This position is inpatient and candidates will provide ICU and sedation services. The Pediatric Critical Care Unit has 16 beds with plans for expansion to 24 beds. Call coverage is 1:6, and APs provide 24 hours of coverage. The providers utilize EPIC for their electronic medical records.
