Golf Marketing Manager

Centurion American 
Supporting: Club 1876 • The Bridges Golf Club • Legacy Ridge Country Club

Position Overview

Centurion American is seeking an energetic, highly motivated, and service-driven professional to serve as Golf Marketing Manager for its growing portfolio of golf and hospitality properties throughout North Texas.

This leadership position is responsible for driving membership growth, tournament and outing sales, event promotion, community engagement, and overall brand development across all golf division properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, creativity, sales experience, and a passion for hospitality and relationship-building.

The Golf Marketing Manager will work closely with club leadership and the Regional Director of Golf Operations to develop and execute strategic initiatives that enhance the visibility, financial performance, and member experience of each property

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Lead membership sales initiatives and actively develop strategies to grow membership across all golf division properties. 
  • Generate and secure corporate outings, tournaments, charity events, weddings, and social functions. 
  • Build relationships with local businesses, residential communities, chambers of commerce, real estate professionals, and community organizations to drive club awareness and revenue opportunities. 
  • Maintain and actively manage prospect databases, sales pipelines, and lead-generation efforts. 
  • Conduct club tours and presentations for prospective members, clients, and event organizers. 

Marketing & Brand Management

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies supporting golf operations, memberships, food & beverage, tournaments, and club events. 
  • Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and visual presentation across all properties and communication platforms. 
  • Create promotional campaigns, marketing materials, newsletters, and digital content to support club initiatives. 
  • Assist in enhancing the overall image and positioning of the golf division within the North Texas market. 

Digital & Social Media Management

  • Oversee all social media platforms, website updates, and email marketing campaigns. 
  • Create engaging digital content that promotes club events, membership opportunities, golf programming, dining, and lifestyle experiences. 
  • Utilize analytics and reporting tools to measure campaign effectiveness and improve engagement. 
  • Coordinate photography, videography, and promotional storytelling initiatives. 

Event Promotion & Member Engagement

  • Promote club tournaments, social events, instructional programs, and member activities. 
  • Collaborate with golf operations, food & beverage, and club leadership to maximize participation and customer satisfaction. 
  • Support member retention efforts through consistent communication, engagement initiatives, and relationship management. 
  • Assist with sponsorship opportunities and strategic partnerships. 

Administrative & Leadership Responsibilities

  • Manage marketing calendars, budgets, advertising schedules, and promotional timelines. 
  • Prepare monthly sales and marketing reports outlining performance metrics, lead generation activity, and revenue results. 
  • Work collaboratively with department leaders to ensure alignment between operations and marketing initiatives. 
  • Always Represent the Centurion American in a professional and hospitality-focused manner. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years of sales and marketing experience in golf, hospitality, private club, resort, or related industries. 
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills. 
  • Proven ability to generate revenue through memberships, outings, tournaments, and events. 
  • Experience with digital marketing, social media management, and customer engagement strategies. 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Self-motivated, creative, and team-oriented leadership style. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, email marketing platforms, and social media tools. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a golf course, country club, resort, or hospitality environment. 
  • Event planning and tournament sales experience preferred. 
  • Knowledge of golf operations and private club culture is highly desirable. 
  • Photography, graphic design, or content creation experience is a plus.
