ย Join our team as a Seasonal Golf Professional and help deliver an exceptional golf experience for our guests. In this role, you'll support daily golf operations, provide instruction, and ensure a high level of customer service on and off the course. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about golf, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences in a resort setting.


Position Details

What You'll Do
  • Provide excellent guest service to golfers, ensuring a positive and professional experienceย 
  • Assist with daily golf operations, including tee sheet management, pace of play, and course flowย 
  • Conduct individual and group golf lessons, clinics, and instructional programsย 
  • Support and coordinate tournaments, outings, and special golf eventsย 
  • Assist with merchandising and sales in the golf shop, including POS transactionsย 
  • Maintain accurate tee times, reservations, and guest records using golf management systemsย 
  • Enforce course rules, policies, and safety standardsย 
  • Monitor course conditions and communicate with maintenance staff as neededย 
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures for the golf shop and practice facilitiesย 
  • Provide knowledge of golf equipment, apparel, and resort amenities to guestsย 
  • Support junior golf programs and player development initiativesย 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the golf shop and practice areasย 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by golf leadership

Requirements

ย What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in golf management or related field preferredย 
  • Previous golf operations, golf instruction, or golf course experience preferredย 
  • PGA Apprentice or PGA Professional status preferred (or desire to pursue PGA certification)ย 
  • Strong knowledge of the game of golf, rules, and etiquetteย 
  • Experience with POS systems and tee sheet management software preferredย 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsย 
  • Ability to teach and engage golfers of all skill levelsย 
  • Professional appearance and customer-focused attitudeย 
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-orientedย 
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of timeย 
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40lbs occasionallyย 
  • Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motionย 
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditionsย 
Work Environment
  • Outdoor golf course setting with indoor golf shop operationsย 
  • Frequent interaction with guests, members, and team membersย 
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, sun, wind, and rainย
