Job Summary

  • The Golf Course Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of small engines, such as oil changes and filter changes
  • Maintain accurate information and reports of services
  • Perform minor maintenance and repairs on hydraulic and electric components of equipment
  • Perform various tasks associated with maintaining properly performing cutting units, including adjusting heights and minor reel adjustments
  • Regular equipment relocation via truck and trailer within the region
  • Ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely at all times  

Education and Experience:

  • Strong work ethic
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid Driver’s License

Physical Demands/Requirements:

  • Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
  • Repetitive movement- standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, and stooping

Work Environment:

  • Indoor work environment with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions, including sun, rain, and cold.
