Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform light maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, tightening loose fixtures, addressing minor repairs, and supporting routine upkeep throughout the clubhouse.
  • Report any damage or additional maintenance needs to the Building Manager.
  • Assist the Building Manager with maintenance work orders as directed.
  • Support inventory control and maintain the security of supplies.
  • Take out trash and maintain waste areas.
  • Polish glass, tables, counters, shelves, desks, office equipment, and door handles.
  • Move furniture, equipment, supplies, and tools as needed.
  • Clean locker room areas and manage towel supplies.
  • Clean walls throughout the clubhouse as needed.
  • Maintain exterior clubhouse areas (e.g., shovel and clean steps, walkways, patios, and entrances).
  • Maintain the pool area, including changing rooms and restrooms.
  • Clean and restock all restrooms.
  • Assist with deep-cleaning projects as scheduled.
  • Help set up and break down furniture for special events.
  • Dust exercise equipment.
  • Consistently demonstrate the Wilderness Ridge Core Values by working Stronger Together with team members, maintaining a Can Do/Will Do attitude, delivering Exceptional Every Time service, and fostering a No Drama work environment.

Education/Qualifications/Certifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • One year of custodial or maintenance experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Must be flexible with work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Positive attitude and professional appearance are essential.

Position Physical Requirements
Must have the ability to:
  • Read and write in English.
  • Communicate clearly with staff and guests.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 5 hours at a time).
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and climbing.
  • Use ladders safely when required.

Working Conditions
  • Work hours will include days and evenings on weekdays and weekends, as well as holidays.
  • Work is performed both indoors and outdoors.
  • Exposure to a variety of weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind.
  • May be exposed to typical golf course conditions such as grass, sand, uneven terrain, and flying golf balls.
  • Regular use of cleaning tools, carts, ladders, and other maintenance equipment.
  • May involve working near chemicals and cleaning agents in accordance with safety guidelines.
