Position Title: Seasonal Dish Steward/Prep Cook Assistant (September- June)

Location: The Fall Line - Butler, Georgia

The Fall Line is a premier private destination golf and sporting club located in Southwest Georgia. Our club offers state-of-the-art facilities, including two Ogilvy, Cocking and Mead–designed 18-hole golf courses, a 9-hole short course, and world-class facilities for shooting, hunting, and angling. In addition to our outstanding outdoor offerings, we pride ourselves on exceptional hospitality, with multiple dining and lodging options, all enhanced by our 25-acre farm that serves as the centerpiece of our 4,500-acre property.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated seasonal Dish Steward-Prep Cook Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dishwashing area. You will collaborate closely with the kitchen staff to guarantee that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and polished to the highest standards. You will also assist with food preparation as directed by our Executive Chef. This is an outstanding ground-floor opportunity to work with our world class culinary team and to advance your career in the culinary world. Your keen attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be vital to the success of our kitchen operations. This is a part-time seasonal position, with continued employment contingent upon business needs, performance, and seasonal operations. Off-season work, recall, or return is anticipated but not guaranteed.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Exemplary professional appearance 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Food safety certification.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
  • Perform food preparation as directed by our Executive Chef.
  • Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
  • Sweep or scrub floors.
  • Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
  • Other duties assigned at various locations on the property such as the cottages, bunk houses, club house and farm.
  • Special Tasks:
    • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
    • Work in multiple kitchens located throughout the property
    • Farm Operations Support
  • Additional Duties:
    • Perform other related duties as required to support the overall operations of the club.
