YOUR MISSION
General
  • Acquire and maintain an understanding of all product offerings and be able to accurately differentiate products.
  • Read and interpret manufacturing orders, bills of materials (BOMs), and work instructions to accurately identify components, build specifications, and special instructions.
  • Maintain an organized workstation and be sure work is performed in accordance with company safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Operate tools, equipment, and measuring devices safely and efficiently and be able to identify when equipment is not functioning properly.
  • Participate in training activities and maintain proficiency with assembly techniques and quality requirements.
  • Engage in cross-training for continuous development to understand all assembly processes and to be able to support seasonal employees.
  • Manage inventory of assembly materials and notify supervisors of low stock levels.
  • Assist in validating new products, components, and assembly processes/procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Occasionally support cross-functional projects for other Cobra Puma Golf departments.

Club Loft and Lie Adjustments (Bending)
  • Measure and adjust club head loft and lie angles to meet customer and product specifications.
  • Operate loft and lie bending machines, gauges, and other specialized equipment safely and effectively.
  • Verify club specifications and inspect for cosmetic defects and structural integrity before and after adjustments to ensure compliance with Cobra quality standards.
  • Maintain tight tolerance and consistency across all product lines.
  • Accurately retrieve and kit manufacturing orders in accordance with product BOMs and specifications.
  • Read and interpret quality and process documents which include loft and lie charts for head specs, bending schedules, and pre-bend box configurations.
  • Properly label pre-sorted and adjusted heads with loft and lie labels.
  • Shrink-wrap heads, as needed.
  • Perform rework and corrective adjustments as needed to achieve required specifications.

Club Assembly
  • Safely assemble golf clubs according to manufacturing specifications and quality standards.
  • Perform job functions in a team setting within a manufacturing environment. Job functions include cutting, tip prep, coupling adjustments, ferrule installation, swingweight, club assembly (gluing), ferrule buff, gripping, detailing, quality inspection, and packout.
  • Measure and verify club specifications which include length, loft, lie, swingweight, grip alignment, and shaft alignment.
  • Identify and report defects, damaged components, or specification discrepancies.
  • Perform rework and repairs, as needed.

YOUR TALENT
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ year of manufacturing, assembly, production, or hands-on mechanical experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions, build specifications, and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise, repetitive tasks with accuracy.
  • Basic math skills, including measuring, counting, and working with fractions/decimals.
  • Demonstrated ability to have the dexterity to perform job functions to meet quality and production goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to identify defects, inconsistencies, and quality issues.
  • Dependable, reliable, and able to work effectively as an individual and in a team environment.
  • Able to work Monday-Friday 6:00AM - 2:30PM. Should be available to work overtime, including Saturdays, as needed.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with necessary support.
  • Ability to have enough strength to adjust loft and lie of a club head by 4° across a range of materials of construction.
  • Ability to work with and around solvents and use appropriate PPE which includes latex or latex alternative gloves.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.

The hiring range base pay for this position is $17.02 - $22.63 + Bonus + Benefits
