We are seeking a highly skilled Goldsmith to join our team and contribute to the creation, repair, restoration, and customization of fine jewelry. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for luxury craftsmanship.

Position Summary

The Goldsmith will be responsible for performing a wide range of bench jewelry work, including jewelry repairs, stone setting, custom fabrication, restoration, sizing, soldering, polishing, and finishing. This role requires a commitment to the highest standards of quality and precision while working with precious metals and gemstones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform expert jewelry repairs, including ring sizing, chain repairs, prong rebuilding, soldering, and clasp replacement.

  • Fabricate and assemble custom jewelry pieces from concept to completion.

  • Restore and refurbish antique and estate jewelry while preserving original design integrity.

  • Work with gold, platinum, silver, and other precious metals.

  • Execute precise polishing, finishing, and quality control procedures.

  • Conduct inspections to ensure all jewelry meets Monarch Jewelry’s quality standards.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure workshop environment.

  • Communicate effectively with management and sales associates regarding repair timelines and special requests.

  • Handle valuable inventory with the utmost care, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional bench jeweler/goldsmith experience.

  • Advanced proficiency in soldering, laser welding, fabrication, polishing, and restoration.

  • Experience working with luxury jewelry brands and high-value pieces preferred.

  • Strong understanding of gemstone handling and jewelry construction.

  • Ability to read and interpret jewelry sketches, design specifications, and repair instructions.
