Gold Leaf Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our remote team. This position offers a fully remote work setting, providing flexibility that allows licensed professionals to manage their schedules effectively while delivering quality care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, participating in regular virtual meetings and case consultations to ensure comprehensive treatment plans for clients. Equipped with modern telehealth technologies, you will be able to connect with clients from the comfort of your own home.

• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to gather information and establish individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Provide therapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups using various evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short therapy.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in accordance with legal requirements and ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with mental health regulations.
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and share insights, fostering a collaborative approach to client treatment.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about advancements in mental health treatment, enhancing your skills and effectiveness as a counselor.
• Manage a caseload while ensuring timely follow-up with clients, addressing their evolving needs, and providing support as necessary.

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including, but not limited to, those facing acute stress, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. The diverse client base at Gold Leaf Psychotherapy Center encompasses various demographics, ensuring a dynamic and enriching counseling experience as you adapt your techniques to meet differing backgrounds and needs.

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) compliant with Texas state regulations.
• Familiarity with internal credentialing processes within community health settings.
• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals struggling with substance use disorders.
• Experience in conducting assessments, diagnoses, and delivering both individual and group therapy sessions.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills is necessary, enabling effective documentation and communication using electronic health record systems.

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and methodologies specific to mental health counseling.
• Previous work in community health or outpatient settings is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to foster relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
