Title: Women's Soccer Goalkeeper Coach (Seasonal)

Position Purpose:

The Women's Soccer Goalkeeper Coach is responsible for aiding the Head Coach in the execution of practices and game day instruction/coaching, primarily in the training of the goal keepers.  This is a professional assistant coaching position and all of the duties of the position must be conducted in adherence with the policies, rules, and regulations of the NCAA, affiliated national, regional, and state intercollegiate athletic associations, the NESCAC Conference and the College. 

Job Duties:

  • Serve as the position-specific coach for all goalkeepers.
  • Design and execute goalkeeper-specific training sessions and player development philosophy.
  • Coach goalkeepers in the team setting.
  • Responsible for the management and coaching of goalkeepers during games.
  • Perform video analysis to improve individual and team performance.
  • Create Individual Development Plans for goalkeepers and offer support and feedback throughout the season.
  • Provide mid-year and end-of-year comprehensive player evaluation review to each goalkeeper.
  • Responsible for clear communication with the coaching staff and players.
  • Collaborate with and assist other staff members.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience

Experience and/or demonstrated success in supervising young adults.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Hiring Range:  The hiring range for this position is $17.00 - $21.25. Placement within the range depends on experience and other factors.
